Mother’s Day Bake Sale
The kids and families from Connect 345 (3rd-5th graders) will be hosting a delicious fundraiser to raise money for Summer Camp 2024. On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, they will be selling baked goods after all worship services. Come ready to supply your Mother’s Day celebration with the best homemade desserts of pies, cookies, cakes, and more!

Vacation Bible School
Join us for Hometown Nazareth the week of July 22-26 from 5-8 p.m.
All children ages 3 (potty-trained) through 5th Grade (leaving) are invited. Please complete a REGISTRATION FORM HERE.

Food Pantry
Summer is here! Kids are going to be home from school and the pantry needs kid-friendly foods and snacks, along with our regular requested shelf-life food. This can include crackers, jello, fruit cups/applesauce, pop tarts, oatmeal, cereal, canned spaghetti, Vienna sausages, etc, Monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Our next distribution will be Thursday, May 23—11:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m.
150th Anniversary Stories
In honor of Rose Hill’s 150 years, we want to highlight people and events – past & present – that have made us the church we are. We are asking for contributions from the congregation – a short blurb on a person or event that you think is significant which we will post at intervals on our Facebook page.

Prayer Book & Prayer Room
The room behind the Sanctuary in the Faith Center serves as a Prayer Room during the week. The Prayer Book will be in this room as well as our full church prayer list and other devotional/prayer materials. All are invited to come and spend time in prayer during the week for our church, our staff, our members and families, and our extended community. The Prayer Room will be open anytime the church is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

GROW WITH US
Nursery is available from 8:30 am – Noon on Sundays in the Faith Center.
Children’s Church is provided at the 11:00 am service in the Faith Center for 3-year-olds (potty-trained) through 5th grade. Children should come to worship with their families and they will be dismissed from the worship service for Children’s Church during the time of Welcome!
Children’s Sunday School meets at 9:45 am. Classes for PreK-K and Grades 1-2 meet in the Faith Center. Grades 3-5 meet in the Fellowship Hall. Greeters can help you find the correct room for each class.

Youth Sunday School meets at 9:45 am in the Faith Center. The students in this class have a large role in determining what topics will be discussed.
Youth Group meets at 5:00 pm on Sunday evenings also for fellowship and fun. All youth 6th-12th grade are welcome!
9:45 am – This class is studying Fearless by Max Lucado. The class is led by Penny Lucas and meets in the Fellowship Hall.
9:45 am – The class is led by Rev. Greg Megill and Alan Kendall and meets in the Faith Center Library.
Tuesdays at 7:00 pm – This class meets in the Genesis Room in the Faith Center and is led by Frank Osburn,
Methodist Women meets monthly on the second Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Contact the church office for more info.
Heart to Heart Women’s Bible Study meets on Wednesdays at 10 am in the church library. We are studying He’s Where the Joy Is. If you don’t have a book, please contact Paula Chatman at 281-290-7755 so she can get you one. All women are welcome!

This Mother’s Day the sermon is “Surely I am with you always!” – On this very special day, we hear not just the command, but also the promise of the Lord. It is this promise that can sustain us through every celebration and every trial.
Our Call to Worship on this day will be a moment of recognition of our mothers and those who have served in the role of mother to all of us. We will have a special time of prayer in this space.
The scripture reading is Matthew 28:16-20
